One advantage that we have today is that we can increase our level of fitness and make our lives better by using a fitness tracker.
We have been working hard to keep ourselves fit since the industrial revolution. This shows how important it is for our bodies to be able to function effectively and efficiently during the course of our lifestyles.
There are multiple reasons why you should own and use a fitness tracker. If you are seriously into keeping fit, it is an indispensable tool especially when you have lots of things to do with your time.
A fitness tracker can be used: as a motivating partner, to set and reach your fitness goals, and to monitor your heart rate. You can use it even under water, and also track your sleep.
It’s time to get yourself a fitness tracker that suits your fitness purpose and your budget. Remember that the quality and the functions of a workout watch should determine which one suits you best.
1. A motivating partner
A fitness tracker is more of a fitness friend and a strict coach, than just a gadget. Its major functions are the standard of measurement and motivation. It lets you view all your activities in the form of information, through which you can see how and where you spread your efforts during the workout routine. This information will later help you to set smarter goals.
2. Fitness goals
Since detailed orientation and clarity are high in priority when setting your fitness goals, a visual impression of your improvements will give you a great sense of accomplishment. Knowing what you have accomplished and what is yet to be accomplished is the main ingredient for setting better fitness goals.
First, you need to write down the purpose of your tracker; whether it is losing weight, building you body, tracking your sleep or any purpose you have
3. Monitoring your heart rate
It is important to monitor your heart rate especially, but not exclusively during your workout sessions. A fitness tracker will keep collecting data during your workout and even as you rest. This makes it convenient for you to single out the activities that overload you during exercises.
If you are a regular swimmer or diver, you can get a fitness tracker that is water-resistant. With this, you will accomplish more out of your fitness program since you are able to get data on your fitness stat while on land and in water.
In addition, you can even get information of the number of strokes you make as you swim, your swimming efficiency, and your swimming pace.
5. Tracking your sleep
A fitness tracker has a role in every activity within the course of your lifestyle. This include when you are resting or sleeping. Getting good quality sleep optimizes your rate of success in your fitness program. The whole of your body should be relaxed for you to make up for exhaustion and proper tissue building and repair.
As always, feel free to leave your comments or questions.
I really love the fitness tracker! It looks plan but in a stylish way. I love how you can get it water proof, and it tracks your sleep and heart rate! How mazing is that? Not only would that be great for fitness but just general in keeping your health together.
Thanks Vanissa. What I thought was even the most amazing when I was doing the research was that all of these qualities were actually available on Amazon at such an affordable price, making it possible for almost anyone to be able to afford one.
Hi
I can imagine how a fitness tracker can be used to help you and motivate you to keep fit, and to achieve your goals. I can see that having a portable device will be so useful as you can improve day after day. You can say that you can compete with yourself. The extra exercise you will get will almost certainly improve your healthy and wellbeing.
All this motivation from a device on your wrist.
Thanks
Antonio

A few years ago, I had a job that would pay us an extra $20 each month if we spent a certain amount of time each week walking or exercising. We used a fitness tracker to report the data that showed how much time we worked out. It was a great way to make extra money.
At the time, I had a Fitbit fitness tracker. Yet after a year, it stopped working. However, I am thinking about getting a new fitness tracker because it was motivating to see how active I was each day. A high number of made me want to work out more. I also used mine to track my sleep so that I could make sure that I was getting enough.
The fitness tracker was a great form of accountability. My iPhone will do some of the same things that my Fitbit did. However, for the phone fitness tracker to work, you have to carry your phone with you. For many types of exercise, I don’t want to have my phone with me.
I look forward to reading about what types of fitness trackers you will recommend.
Thanks Sondra for your timely and helpful comments. I found your remarks very interesting and helpful. Thanks for sharing.
I have noticed lately in some of our stores here that they have Fitbit trackers on sale for around $160 CAD. At that price I assumed they would be good quality and would last a long time,so I am surprised to note you say that yours lasted only one year.
To me that begs the question, even if the tracker I recommended here on Amazon lasted under a year would it not be cheaper to replace it several times if necessary rather than buying a more expensive one to start with?
At around $40 CAD this one should be affordable to almost anyone, and it has so many types of application.
